At the golden age of the Scandinavian countries; they thrived under social democratic welfare capitalism, only later to be turned by capitalistic ideals govern by consumerism. Here the younger generation, especially females, are being bombarded with messages about how to look and what to wear. All shaped into painted Barbie dolls not only by billboards but also by bought role models and heavily lobbied subjects that slowly but surely take a firmer grip on the broadness of the political spectrum. In the middle of the searchlight, they all stand static while looking out into nothingness. Are they given a helping hand; by the free market in the vastness of the free world, by a waking celestial ascendancy or left alone; enclosed to the oval of light which gradually decline into darkness?
