In the western world where populist parties are on the rise… gentrified urban “utopias” sets in motion by a broad political spectrum where market ideologies are looked upon as the norm. In the midst of this; I placed eleven men, all from different social classes with the task of appearing in formal attire whilst sitting at The Beach (an interactive design installation) in the coldness of April. The location, the clothing and the surroundings all intertwine; creating a discussion about gentrification taking over from the right. Pushing the idea of an equal environment to the left.
