Inaccessibility / Part I (2015)

The image above the statement, saying “Your ”Art”work sucks“ was a comment I got from an anonymous spectator. He or she probably didn’t like the fact that the work held Emily Carr University of Art + Design’s library only closed off study room hostage for a month.

If not touched one could work as normal in the room. But the highly unstable structure had a tendency to fall over, taking over the whole room. Daily I rebuilt the abstract structure, while planting some candy inside, inviting the audience to interact with it…
